well now we know that that didn't happen. What is the Pats' next pick in round 2?
they don't have a second rounder this year, They gave it up for Wes Welker. They still have 8 more picks and we all know that Bilichick and Pioli can find diamonds in the rough. I'm not at all surprised we traded away that pick, It's not like we have many holes to fill this year. I guess they just figured there wasn't anyone available worth that pick and are hoping they can get a better deal next year. At least it show that Belichik is looking towards the future and not just loading up for a final shot before he moves on.

I don't think he's leaving anytime soon. I've been hearing rumors that he might leave soon but nothing from any credible sources, mostly haters on the myspace boards.
