Yankees manager Joe Torre confirmed Tuesday that Roger Clemens would face the White Sox on Monday.
Torre is using the weak excuse that he didn't want to juggle his weekend rotation against the Red Sox, but the Yankees could have arranged things better and had Clemens make his return at Fenway. They just didn't to feed the frenzy. The Yankees will go with Chien-Ming Wang, Mike Mussina and Andy Pettitte this weekend.


You'd think for 28mil they would want him to play in the big games.

I couldn't have said it any better... They could have 'juggled' the pitching rotation to fit him in considering the talk that our series was going to be his welcoming back. Torre better come up with something soon if he wants to keep his job......
