We're down 6-2 in the eighth and the Spankees bring in Mariano Rivera and he sh*ts the bed! A-Fraud then proceeds to piss himself in a clutch situation YET AGAIN! SOX WIN 7-6! What a game!
Beckett takes the mound today bringing in a 1.50 ERA so lets hope he can keep up his early season dominance.
An the mother of all baseball extravaganzas comes tomorrow when Dice K takes on the evil empire for the first time in what we hope will be a long successful career in Boston. |

Talk about an exciting ending! Nothing like a great comeback in the 8th to start the series 1-0. Can't wait for todays game. |

I have mixed feelings about this game. Beckett is a great fast-ball pitcher but the Crankees are a great fast-ball hitting team. Lets just hope he's been listening to what Curt has been teaching him about pitching.
Should be an interesting game, let's hope Paps is available if needed. |

I was a little concerned about today's game, especially the way it started off. Gotta love Papi's homer in the 4th though and I was impressed with Cora fouling off 8 in the following inning, even if he grounded out afterwards. |

Yeah Beckett started out a little shaky but bounced back and pitched like a madman from the 3rd on. The offense did a great job answering back when the spankees scored early. Great effort all around. We've won the series already but it would be nice to get the sweep. The offense needs to give a little bit of run support to Dice K tomorrow, I'm sick of seeing him pitch great but lose because our offense didn't show up. |

Come from behind victories, bunt singles, back to back to back to back home runs and A-Fruad blowing it in the clutch. The Red Sox sweep the Yankees at Fenway Park for the first time in 17 years. What an exciting series! I can hardly wait for next weekend! |

The record-tying back to back homers were incredible. And I know it's still April and all, but seeing us 4 games ahead of the Yanks is sweet non-the-less. Looking forward to next weekend. |

Hopefully now we can take the series in New York next weekend and put a little more daylight in between us and them. The Yanks aren't going to be hurt this badly forever. Let's take advantage of it while we can. |

I couldn't agree with you more. Time to lay it on thick while it's in our favor. |

It's looking like Lester could actually be ready in time for this weekend. It's still somewhat of a long shot but I think I'd rather have Lester than Tavarez pitch against the yanks. As it stands now we'll have Dice K, Wake, and Tavarez/Lester pitching in the series. |

Wow! This has been quite the game so far. We've already gotten Pettitte out of there now if Dice K can just hold on for another inning or two we might make it 4 in a row against the skanks. |

4 in a row against the Yanks! If Wake's knuckleball is "fluttering" tomorrow we might get 5 in row! |
